Factory Manager
Quarry Mining LLC is a partnership between the Ras Al Khaimah Government and German investors. Our team of 150 skilled engineers and technicians can deliver and install any of 50 off-the-shelf mineral processing plants or design a custom solution of any scale and size to meet your requirements. Our company own workshop is handling up to 100t of steel production per month.
We operate in GCC countries, the MENA region, and other African countries. We are ISO certified 9001:2015, ISO Certificate 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.
We are searching a new Factory Manager starting from now.
Scope of this vacancy is:
- Lead workshop with 80 people
- Control works preparation, fitup and welding of steel works from light to heavy duty
- Prepare daily work schedule
- Manage the factory incl. all related departments
- Prepare schedule and material coordination through the complete workshop chain
- Maintain quality of the work
- Manage pre-assembly of equipment and plants
- Manage trail runs and FAT
- Manage 3rd parts inspections
- Coordinate with Engineering
- Coordinate with QC department
- Coordinate with site and installation
- Coordinate with maintenance department
- Report to Management
- Develop strategies to make fabrication more efficient and improve quality
- Support for price and after sales calculation based on factory output
Required Skills:
- Able to lead and manage up to 80 people
- Able to work under high pressure
- Able to read fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, installation drawings
- Able to work with AUTOCAD
- Advanced English speaking
- Able to work with MS Word, MS Excel and other office tools
- Able to understand complex structures and machines
- Experience in steel manufacturing
- Experience in welding and CSWIP welding certificate
- UAE Driving license preferrable
